Announcement of Special Holiday for Financial Institutions and Specialised Financial Institutions.
On 13th February 2024, the Cabinet has announced that 12th April 2024 is a public holiday in order to alleviate traffic congestion during the Songkran festival, promote tourism, and stimulate the service sector and overall economy.
The Bank of Thailand (BOT) has considered and deemed appropriate to declare that “12th April 2024” is a holiday for financial institutions and specialised financial institutions to align with the government’s policy.
