We want visitors to appreciate lavender’s economic value and medicinal benefits, offering a comprehensive understanding from cultivation to product development. This is Thailand’s first initiative to explore lavender in such depth. Play La Ploen is dedicated to providing tourist attractions that boost physical and mental well-being. Our ESG efforts focus on social and environmental aspects, leveraging lavender to improve quality of life. We offer training for farmers and communities on sustainable lavender farming, including reducing chemical use, efficient water management, mixed farming for ecosystem balance, processing, and business management. This ensures stable careers and income through expanded products and services like our Lavender’s Magic tour package. We hope participants enjoy a relaxing and meaningful experience as we kick off the 2024 tourist season with the first cool winds of Buriram province.”
“Lavender Magic: A Festival of Sustainable Growth” aligns with Play La Ploen’s long-term vision to become a Herbstopia, a metropolis of herbs, by cultivating beautiful lavender fields that generate economic value for the community. Festival participants can enjoy the serene lavender fields and engage in various activities, including lavender-related workshops and tasting unique dishes that highlight lavender’s aroma and health benefits. Guests can also relax and rejuvenate at the AROKAYA WELLNESS SALA, where tourism and learning blend seamlessly.
Tourism in Buriram is on the rise, with the province recently climbing to 4th place among the most popular destinations in Northeast Thailand. This growth highlights the increasing appeal of health and cultural tourism in the area. The partnership between KTC and Play La Ploen reinforces the importance of sustainable and creative tourism, showcasing how business and community partnerships can effectively promote tourism in Thailand.
