Mitihoon – Bangkok – Banpu NEXT, a leading Net Zero Solutions provider in Asia-Pacific, expands its partnership with BHIRAJ BURI GROUP with a new solar rooftop and solar carport installation at BITEC BURI, Bangna. This project follows a successful collaboration at Summer Lasalle, BHIRAJ BURI GROUP’s workplace campus, where Banpu NEXT installed solar systems across all three phases. The new installation at BITEC BURI’s mixed-use development further solidifies both companies’ commitment to decarbonizing eastern Bangkok’s CBD. The solar project of BITEC BURI and Summer Lasalle will reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 3,700 tons per year, underscoring their dedication to achieving Net Zero goals.
Bang Na district, a burgeoning business hub in eastern Bangkok, is witnessing significant growth fueled by public infrastructure investments and mega-projects. BHIRAJ BURI GROUP is playing a key role in this development with BITEC BURI, a mixed-use complex featuring world-class exhibition spaces and a comprehensive lifestyle center. To further enhance this vital hub and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, BHIRAJ BURI GROUP has partnered with Banpu NEXT to install a 4 MW solar rooftop and carport system at BITEC BURI. Covering 40,000 sq. m., this is the largest solar installation within the BHIRAJ BURI GROUP portfolio and is expected to save BITEC BURI an estimated up to 20 million baht annually in energy costs. This project exemplifies BHIRAJ’s continued trust in Banpu NEXT, building on their successful collaboration at Summer Lasalle, where solar installations were completed across all three phases, with a total of 1 MW.
