The opening was held at Museum Siam.
At the event, True Corporation, in collaboration with the The Autistic Thai Foundation and Siam Kempinski Hotel, presented a simulated Autism Digital Learning Center, offering attendees and young participants a new kind of interactive learning experience. They also introduced the STS (Screening Tool for Persons with Special Needs) — an early screening tool designed for parents and caregivers of children at risk of autism spectrum disorder.
Another highlight of the event was the inspiring live demonstration by autistic baristas from True Coffee, who personally prepared and served coffee and beverages, showcasing their remarkable skills and dedication. The event also received strong support from the private sector, with participation from CPRAM, True Coffee, and Five Star Grilled Chicken, who set up booths to demonstrate their commitment to improving the quality of life for vulnerable groups. Additionally, True CJ brought cast members from the series Good Doctor Thailand, including lead actor “Doctor Neng” – Saran Naraprasertkul, director “Aof” – Monthon Arayangkoon, and assistant director “P’Jack”, who is autistic, to take part in a panel discussion titled “Work with Autism.” The discussion offered valuable perspectives on inclusion, understanding, and equality in the workplace and society. Throughout the event space, visitors also enjoyed a variety of engaging activities such as art frame painting workshops, musical performances by autistic artists, and a marketplace featuring art, crafts, and handmade products created by individuals with autism and their families from across the country.
A special highlight this year was the debut of four unique characters representing individuals with autism, each expressing a different perspective of the world through their own lens:
- “Nong Wanjai” – representing sincerity and gentleness
- “Nong Jinjin” – symbolizing focus and determination
- “Nong Jidrid” – capturing creativity and uniqueness
- “Nong Fasol” – embodying heightened sensory awareness and deep perception of surroundings
Together, these characters reflect the diverse dimensions of individuals on the autism spectrum and serve as a platform for openness, listening, and acceptance of meaningful differences. Because we believe that “Uniqueness creates a truly special world. Life is better when we move forward together.”
